Dog Bites Man -- Muslim Nut Blames US and Jews
Is there any problem for which muslims assume responsibility? I'll answer that. No. Despite living in backward cultures that produce nothing except oil, cultures that kill all innovation and creativity, muslims lack the barest sense of self-evaluation and understanding of their extraordinary shortcomings as people and as followers of a religion.
Why is the muslim world an intellectual wasteland? One word says it all. Islam. The surest and straightest path to stagnation is found in this religion. It's been one thousand years since muslims have added an ounce of knowledge to the world. That ounce of knowledge is the mathematical concept of Zero. The number. Since then, muslims have contributed nothing, which seems to explain the origin of the concept. It was a natural state for them.
Ahmadinejad blames West for AIDS
TEHERAN, Iran
Iran's president on Tuesday blamed the US and other "big powers" for nuclear proliferation, AIDS and other global ills and accused them of exploiting the UN and other organizations for their own gain - and the developing world's loss.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gestures during a Teheran press conference.
But, he said, time was on the poor countries' side.
"The big powers are going down," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told foreign ministers of the Nonaligned Movement meeting in Teheran. "They have come to the end of their power, and the world is on the verge of entering a new, promising era."
Specifically, he criticized the indictment of Sudanese leader Omar al-Bashir by an international prosecutor on charges of genocide in Darfur.
Instead, he said the International Criminal Court's prosecutor, who indicted Bashir on July 14, should instead press charges against Israeli leaders for assassinating opponents and imposing a food and medicine blockade against Palestinians.
He also warned that US attempts to reach an agreement with the Iraqi government over the future presence of American troops in the country, "will undermine the independence and rights of the people of Iraq."
Ahmadinejad's comments fit both the venue and occasion of the meeting.
The more than 100-member NAM is made up of such diverse members as communist Cuba, Jamaica and India and depicts itself as bloc-free. But most members share a critical view of the US and the developed world in general. And with Iran assuming the chairmanship of the conference Tuesday, Ahmadinejad's keynote speech was tailored to reflect the struggle that some NAM members see themselves in against the world's rich and powerful countries.
A draft of the final document that ministers will be asked to approve, made available to The Associated Press as the conference opened Tuesday, reflected that struggle.
"The rich and powerful countries continue to exercise an inordinate influence in determining the nature and direction of international relations, including economic and trade relations, as well as rules governing these relations, many of which are at the expense of developing countries," it said.
NAM countries oppose "unilaterally imposed measures by certain states ... the use and threat of use of force, and pressure and coercive measures as a means to achieving their national policy objectives," said the draft.
This appeared to be an indirect slap at the United States, which has refused to rule out force as a possible means of last resort against Iran unless it heeds UN Security Council demands to curb its nuclear activities.
The draft also condemned "the categorization of countries as good or evil based on unilateral and unjustified criteria" - oblique criticism of US President George W. Bush's labeling of Iran as part of an "Axis of Evil" along with Saddam Hussein's Iraq and North Korea.
Iran has in the past counted on NAM countries to blunt pressure from the US and its allies for harsh UN sanctions and other penalties because of its refusal to freeze uranium enrichment, which can produce both nuclear fuel or the fissile payload of warheads. Teheran has been slapped with three sets of UN sanctions because of its nuclear defiance and new penalties loom unless Tehran shows compromise.
Another draft statement also obtained by the AP before the meeting began seeks continued support. Submitted by Iran on behalf of the NAM, it asks the conference to agree that "sanctions imposed on Iran for its nuclear program are of a political nature and should be promptly removed."
The ministers "further affirm ... that there is no legal basis that (the) UN Security Council proceeds" in continuing to deal with the Iran nuclear file, said that draft.
While only infrequently mentioning the US by name Tuesday, Ahmadinejad made clear that he blamed Washington and its allies for trying to "impose their political will on nations and governments."
He accused the great powers of "fomenting discord .... to intensify the military and arms race" so they can feed their arms industries. AIDS, he said, also was the result of world conditions "imposed by big powers."
Accusing the UN Security Council of being a tool of the world's haves - which use them against the have-nots - he said it was useless to expect that body to be the solution to the world's ills.
"If the United Nations and the Security Council ... were supposed to deal with the problems of the world ... we would not have a problem called Palestine," he declared, in indirect criticism of the creation of Israel 60 years ago.

So what is your solution to the problem? It's interesting how Ahmadinajad is labeled a nut for his anti-Israel/U.S. stance. You express clear hatred for Muslims based on your ignorant beliefs. That makes you a nutjob as well.
I don't agree with everything the Iranian president has to say. It honestly doesn't matter what he says. Iran's policies lie with its supreme leader. Their president is merely a pawn.
On a side note- you shouldn't underestimate the Islamic world. The ragtag army of Hezbollah brought Israel to its knees just a couple years ago. Additionally, the so-called, most-powerful force in the world (referring to U.S. armed forces) is stretched thin and barely surviving in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is coming from U.S. senators and media, not al-Jazeera.
Your hatred for Muslims doesn't help the situation at all. Your nonsense is on the same level as Ahmadinajad. The things you said about Muslims are about as true as denying the Holocaust. Please educate yourself instead of wasting internet space with your ridiculous input.
It's time we ramp up our military for extra curriculum duty. Let's just say..."for some night duty". Iran wants to boast of their deseased minds, that's there business. However, I think we should pay them a few night visits to ramp up for there doomed and glum...I think it's time for us to have the fourth of July in Iran.
Nobody said we hate Muslums lunatic. Learn how to read English. Your brand of thought just isn't appreciated and welcomed with open arms. Basically, you are coming over as institutional believing freaks rather than individual success stories. Could you sell your brand of goods to yo mama? I don't think so. We're just tired of your group mentality and thinking it's ok to murder innocents.
Voltaire hated the group mentality thing-including the group mentality thing in American education. We're so passionate about pleasing everybody individualism is snubbed. We're all going to give an individual report to our maker for the things we did individually. God DOES NOT see at a distance hollywood. He knows each one of us individually and we are going to give an account of our lives one person at a time. The question here is: "Is your story worth telling"?
Kal el...please get a grip. Americans for the most part are people loving people. No, we are not always represented by our government well, but we try to see everyones side. Fair play and opinions are considered cornerstones in our way of life in America. Life is either going to make you better, or, it will make you bitter...it's your choice.
Every nation will have a day in the sun. The Muslim nation had its day in the sun. Sun is not setting on Islam. The dawn is just breaking on the Muslims nation. Many like you had predicted the death of Islam. They are gone, but Islam is still around. You will be gone too, and Islam will be still around. Death of Islam is wishful thinking. The death of Islam is greatly exaggerated. Goethe compared Islam to a river. A faith that carries its followers to eternal salvation to the Father. He went on to state, "If Islam means submission to God, We all live and die in Islam." As for its Holy Book, Goethe said, “Whether the Koran is of eternity? I don't question that! That it is the book of books. I believe out of the Muslim's duty." Be honest. Islam gets under your skin because its message is eternal. It rivals the West. It is the only faith that clashed with West and won. It refuses to compromise with the West. It offers attractive alternatives to the West. I feel sorry for you for your lack “intellectual integrity”.
Many laughed at China and India in the sixties and seventies as being poor and backward. Look at them now. They had proud civilizations but experienced a decline. Many in the West thought China and India will always be poor and backward. Is that the case now? It is Western mind set which is that they are somehow superior to all. Islam will rise again too! By the way, China is another alternative to the West which also looks promising. It is the West that has to be worried.

Tahir, Ya Haqq...get a grip. Once again, now you're coming over as an institunalized misfit. What about humanity in general...do they mean anything to you. Is your religion the answer to what ills life in general? Can you honestly believe the women who blow themselves up in the name of Islam be gloriously saved by some miracle? Have you personally performed a miracle yourself lately? Anyway, Jesus Christ can love you when nobody else can. God Bless.
Is there any problem for which America assumes responsibility? I'll answer that. No. Despite living in an ignorant, greedy culture that produce nothing except Hollywood trash, fried cheese, and NASCAR, Americans lack the barest sense of international empathy and understanding of their extraordinary shortcomings as people and as followers of a broken religion, Christianity.
Why is America an intellectual wasteland? One word says it all. Republicans. The surest and straightest path to ignorance and greed is this political party. The Republican Party is little more than a walking gay bar without any tasty drinks.
ted baehr,
Just to be clear, I think you are a moron.
But I will give you a short list of problems America has recognized in itself and taken responsibility.
Slavery is an easy one. When the US recognized its internal failing, the government acted. AS you might know, we were tough on ourselves. The option to split into two countries was there. We could have broken into a free country and a slave country. But we went down the tougher road.
Of course there is the issue of the founding of the US. Democracy was a good idea then and it just as good today.
Meanwhile, internally the US had tackled many many problems and solved them for the betterment of everyone in the country.
Clean water, for example. Over a million children A YEAR die from drinking impure water in Africa. Our healthcare skill has led to the elimination of smallpox, malaria, dysentery, polio and a lot of other diseases that nail millions of people around the world, especially in the backward countries, some of which are muslim.
Our economy is huge and draws millions of people to the US every year because it offers opportunities people in other countries can only dream of. The US has a problem with people swarming to GET IN. Most countries of the world experience NEGATIVE migration. People are dying to get the hell out and move to the US.
The same is true for our colleges and universities. The best universities in the world are in the US. Meanwhile, very few people in the world go to college. Muslims, for instance, don't go to college in the usual sense. The schools they attend in their home countries teach nothing important, which is one reason nothing is created or invented in islamic countries. Nothing.
kal el,
It's remarkable that dopes like you claim it does not matter what comes from the mouth of the Iranian president because he is "merely a pawn."
First, if he's a pawn, then he's doing what he has been told to do by a higher power in the government. If that's true, then the pawn is speaking for the higher power who wants to broadcast beliefs but he wants someone else to do the talking.
Clearly the Supreme Leader wants Ahmadinejad to say what he says. That's what puppets do. Thus, the Supreme Leader wants to provoke the US and Israel into a confrontation.
The Supreme Leader will get his wish.
Personally, I would fire a few cruise missiles into the main government meeting halls in Tehran and inform the leadership of Iran that it can change its behavior or face removal by a major missile assault. We could settle all our differences in an hour if the clowns in Tehran realized their days in power would end in a big blast.
As far as estimating the islamic world goes, the one thing you can be sure of it that muslims will always take the path of self-destruction in any confrontation.
Israel's error in its fight with hezbollah was in holding back. I'm sure Nisrallah (or whatever his name is), the head of hezbollah, was hiding in an embassy building in Beirut when Israel took action after its soldiers were kidnapped.
I would have ordered an aerial attack on the embassy building and killed him -- just to make a point.
Meanwhile, Lebanon is a morass that only a muslim could love.
It has what appears to be a legitimate goverment elected by the people. Yet a foreign military force actually controls the country. And the foreign military takes orders from Tehran and Damascus.
Let me say I would knock of Bashir Assad as well as a few of his offending lieutenants. Destroying the leadership of Syria and Iran would improve the region faster than any other alternative.
As for your assessment of the US military, well, since the US is a political country and we actually elect our leaders, those who want to win elections will say anything.
This is an election year, which means the outpouring of idiocy from candidates is moving toward the high-tide mark.
However, it is only because the US wants to preserve the lives of muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan that we have refrained from using our heavily destructive powers. Instead, US military forces are hunting bad guys on the ground rather than carpet-bombing vast tracts of enemy territory.
By the time WWII was over, more than 50% -- in some cities 80% -- of the housing in Germany was destroyed and the industrial centers of many cities were reduced to rubble.
Israel could have done the same to Lebanon.
As far as my general comments about muslims go, you can take a shot at disproving any statement I've made.
In short, the muslim culture kills creativity, invention and the advancement of knowledge. This situation is the result of the beliefs of islam.
Again, other than oil, the islamic world produces nothing. Every manufactured item is made somewhere else in the world and sent to the muslim nations.
The oil in the middle east was found by the British. It is merely luck -- bad luck for the world -- that such great quantities were found under land controlled by such backward people.
In today's world the idea of a royal family, kings, princes, and other blood relatives controlling countries is way beyond preposterous.
Iraq and Afghanistan might become the first successful muslim democracies. The US converted Germany and Japan into democracies following WWII. But muslims, with their inclinations to self-destruction, will resist the benefits of democracy for as long as possible. That's a sign of cultural and religious stupidity.
And, let me remind you that mohammed was a schizophrenic nut who fooled a lot of people and left a deadly legacy that affects the world today.
Who's the dope and moron here slappz? The commenters, or you for actually responding to them. Gearbox!
